Malika Ali is a Los Angeles based writer-producer-director, wife-mother, and burgeoning social activist. She earned an MFA in screenwriting from the American Film Institute and a BFA in theatre directing from Howard University. She has authored three feature scripts Wild Butterflies, Sunshine Girls, and Mouse Ward (currently in production). Her short stories and short films are multi-layered explorations of sexuality, sociology, color, and culture. Ms. Ali is the founder of 35mm Girl Pictures, a production company.

Executive Producer, Cinematographer, and Visual Effects Supervisor Brian Ali Harding most recently photographed Dennis Dortch’s indie hit, A Good Day to be Black & Sexy. Brian divides his time between his work with 35mm Girl Pictures and his role as Visual Effects Supervisor for Entity FX in Santa Monica, CA. His projects with Entity include “Breaking Bad” for AMC and “Vampire Diaries” with the CW Network. Brian also won “Best Compositing in a Television Program, Music Video or Commercial” from the prestigious Visual Effects Society for his work on “Smallville.” He has completed effects for several noteworthy films including Michael Jackson’s documentary This Is It, Frank Miller’s motion picture The Spirit, Spiderman 2, and Oscar winning The Aviator. As an independent filmmaker Ali Harding’s Day #532 played the festival circuit and took the Silver Spire award at the San Francisco International Film Festival.
